Back cover illustration for Phase magazine distributed locally with the Times of Malta.
I was commissioned to produce a cover which conveys a message about the local education system and the stress this system induces to students (particularly Fifth Formers). The focus in this back cover is on objects the student used for his hobbies, which are covered with cobwebs. This signifies the long time since he had last chance to practice his hobbies and instead had to learn stuff by heart in order to be able to regurgitate all the necessary info during his exam. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
